Rotaro T digital hand-tachometer with special adapter

The rotaro T digital hand-tachometer is a device for measuring rotational speed and velocity, as well as length. The compact device has two measuring methods. One is optical, and therefore non-contacting; the other is mechanical using an adapter and various probes.

With the optical method, it focuses a beam of light at a thin sticker attached to the object, which reflects it at the speed of rotation. The result appears immediately on the 5-digit LCD. The distance between the rotaro T digital hａnd tachometer and the test object can be up to 600 mm.

The mechanical method uses a contact probe, which is directly attached to the axis of rotation. A measuring wheel is placed on the adapter to measure velocity or length in the normal manner.

Using a special adapter, the rotaro T can measure the lenghths and velocities of yarn, wire and glass or other fiber.

The rotaro T is supplied with a protective holster, as well as a sturdy case with a complete set of accessories. It is also supplied with a calibration certificate by which the rotaro T itself is approved as a calibration device. A detailed operating manual completes the set.

The rotaro T digital hａnd tachometer is just as useful when setting up plants and machinery as during service jobs, monitoring manufacturing processes or in development laboratories. Example applications include measuring the rotational speeds of engines, pumps and turbines, as well as of mixers, centrifuges and conveyors; it can also measure the velocities and lengths of all kinds of threads, sheets and belts.

Operation	The device is operated with three buttons. The measuring button in the middle switches it on and is pressed during the measurement. The MEM button enables you to select the four memory functions in succession. Even after the device is switched off, the stored values remain in the memory so that they are available when it is switched on again. The MODE button is for selecting the operating mode.
